Methodology: Reckoner's matching engine cross-references AEC Annual Return disclosure data (transparency.aec.gov.au) against AusTender contract notices (tenders.gov.au) by ABN first, then normalised company name. A match is included if the donor made ≥$10K in total donations and received ≥$50K in total federal contract value across the matched financial years (last 5 years). Correlation is not causation. Donations and contracts are both public record — Reckoner surfaces the overlap for public scrutiny.
